James Cameron´s ´Avatar´ To Say ´My Name Is Khan´!

In perhaps the first of its kind of an event, where Hollywood meets Bollywood, the promo of Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ will be unveiled with James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’, globally on December 18.
While talks about ‘My Name Is Khan’ with ‘Avatar’ were there on twitter for a while it has been confirmed officially.
The much awaited Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer, ‘My Name Is Khan’ is all set to release worldwide, during the Valentine weekend, February 12, 2010 to be exact.
As may be recalled Fox Star Studios India will distribute ‘My Name Is Khan’ in India, Fox Searchlight will distribute in the US while 20th Century Fox will release in the rest of the world.

‘Veer’, ‘My Name Is Khan’ first look promos will unveil shortly

The forthcoming biggies will include the first look promos of keenly-anticipated movies. While the promos of RANN and CHANCE PE DANCE have already been unveiled, the first promo of Salman Khan’s epic story VEER will be included with the prints of DE DANA DAN. That’s not all, the first promo of Karan Johar’s much-in-news MY NAME IS KHAN will be unveiled with James Cameron’s AVATAR, which opens globally on December 18.
It must be noted that Fox Star Studios India will distribute MY NAME IS KHAN in India, while Fox Searchlight will distribute the SRK – Kajol starrer in the U.S. and 20th Century Fox will do so in the rest of the world. In fact, Karan was keen to show his close friends the first look of the film last Wednesday at Yash Raj, during an exclusive screening of KURBAAN, “but the promo wasn’t ready,” Karan remarked. Kajol,Bebo bond in Sydney

Looks like Kajol and Kareena Kapoor are behaving like long lost sahelis, declares Rapchik Rajni as she strolls into my boudoir. The two abhinetris are shooting together in Sydney, Australia, for Karan Johar’s next production, the remake of Stepmom.. after eight years since Kabhi Khsuhi Kabhi Gham.
According to Rajni, Kadso and Bebo hit it off right from the start, when they spoke about how it’s been a long time since their last movie together, also made by their movie together, also made by their buddy, K Jo. I’m also told the two have come to get along so well that they’ve come to share a perfect understanding as co-stars and have no qualms rehearsing with the other even for the shots when one is not exactly facing the camera.
Not only do the two actresses get chatty about anything under the sun, but it seems they bond well even after pack-up is announced.
Suna hai, they even have lunches and dinners together. Must say it’s so good to see two abhinetris bond ing so well, minus all that bitching and negativity. Knitty affair, Kajol

Being a good actress has many pluses. Not only do you bag the best roles (and awards) in the business, but you find time to do a lot more. We mean , more than just movies.
We all know that Kajol is a natural, and is super spontaneous with her performances, but when we dropped in on the sets of the Stepmom remake, even we were mighty surprised. She was just so quick with her takes and went through them so smoothly, that she ended up with a lot of free time in between. While the unit went into a frenzy readying the set for the next take, Kajol would unwind and catch up on her hobbies.
We discovered she likes knitting woolies and sweaters, and between shots, she was going clickety-clack with the needles – yarn and all. Maybe she’s planning to surprise her producer and buddy, Karan Johar with a wooly this winter. With her signature style, of course! Though we’re sure he’d be much happier with the monster hit he’s expecting from her. Now we know why he chose her for this one – she’s ‘supermom’ alright. And this is no ‘yarn’.
